As part of our commitment to support all vulnerable communities during this challenging time, we’ve now made our Coles Community Box available to all customers. Along with our Coles Online Priority Service (COPS) customers, any Coles Online customer can now purchase a box to support family, friends or neighbours who need access to groceries.

Delivered direct to homes in two packages by Australia Post for $80, the Coles Community Box contains grocery items and household items for healthy meals and snacks, plus some everyday essentials.

What's in the box?

The health of all Australians is important to Coles, so therefore the box contains nutritious items for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as some everyday household essentials.

Will the contents always be the same?

We’ll do our very best to get these items to you, but they may vary according to supply. If we do substitute an item, they will always be of a similar quality and value.

How do I order?

To order a Coles Community Box, select ‘order now,’ add a box to your shopping cart, confirm your delivery and payment details and check out.

How will the box be delivered?

Your Coles Community Box will be delivered to your door in two packages by Australia Post using contactless delivery. Estimated delivery for metro areas is 2-5 business days. Please note that remote areas may have a longer delivery time. Please see Australia Post's estimated delivery times for different locations. All boxes will be dispatched from Melbourne Metro or Sydney Metro. Once your order is placed you will receive updates on your delivery from Australia Post via text message and/or email. Australia Post will endeavour to send as one single delivery, but your order may arrive as two separate deliveries.

1. Who can order a Coles Community Box?

All Coles Online customers are now eligible to order a Coles Community Box for their own use, or to support a vulnerable community member. Simply login to your existing Coles Online account at https://shop.coles.com.au

If you’re new to Coles Online, you will need to register for an account first.

Please note, Coles Online is now open to all customers for Click&Collect and Home Delivery services, and will provide a greater range and choice of grocery items, including fresh items.

2. Why don’t the boxes include fresh food and other staples such as milk, bread, and meat?

We are unable to refrigerate the boxes for the period it takes to deliver them, so fresh food items would spoil before they arrived. The box will contain items to provide sufficient nutrition for 2 people for one week.

3. How much is the box?

The Coles Community Box costs $80. This includes the costs of selecting, packing, dispatching and delivery of the box.

4. How many boxes can I order?

There is no purchase limit.

5. Do I need a PayPal account to make a transaction?

You do not need a PayPal account to purchase a box. If you have a PayPal account you can use this, if you wish to use a different method select ‘Pay with Debit or Credit Card’ on the checkout page and use the guest checkout.

6. Why have I only received one box?

The Community Box is made up of two boxes. Due to the way Australia Post deliveries work these might arrive on different days. Use your tracking number to see if they’re expected to arrive on separate days. For further queries contact Australia Post on 13 76 78.

7. I’m a remote customer – can I order a Coles Community Box?

Yes, any location that is serviceable by Australia Post can have a Coles Community Box delivered. However, remote areas may have a longer delivery time. Please see Australia Post's estimated delivery times for different locations.

8. I am a business supporting vulnerable communities. Can I order the Community Box?
